Jaguar launches the F-PACE SVR in Singapore

Wearnes Automotive has launched the Jaguar F-PACE SVR Singapore, set in a glittering fashion event which showcased the latest collection from Singapore based fashion retailer Jo Kilda.


Built by Jaguar's Special Vehicle Operations (SVO), the F-PACE SVR is a performance SUV that lives up to the promise of both the practicality and versatility of the F-PACE SUV, with the performance qualities of a sports car built by SVO.
The F-PACE SVR features a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 that makes 543bhp and 680Nm of torque. Power is transmitted through an eight-speed QuickShift automatic transmission to all four wheels. Zero to 100km/h is dispatched in 4.3 seconds, with a top speed of 283km/h.
The unique exterior design of the F-PACE SVR maximises cooling to the supercharged V8 and enhances aerodynamic performance. As a result, the F-PACE SVR offers improved handling, higher cornering abilities and increased high speed stability.
The aerodynamic enhancements include a unique front fender with functional side vents, which push air around the inside of the car and minimises front-end lift. At the same time, it improves wheel arch ventilation to optimise brake cooling.
At the rear a new spoiler extends the roofline, highlighting the F-PACE SVR's sports car pedigree and offering lift reduction. The quad exhaust pipes also stand out at the rear. The Switchable Active Sports Exhaust system reacts to to throttle position, speed and engine revs, producing a richer, more exhilarating sound.
On the inside, the F-PACE SVR features performance front seats that provide enhanced lateral support, with premium perforated leather.
At the rear, leg and knee room matches the standard F-PACE, at 945mm and 65mm respectively.
The SVR model still retains the same practicality and versatility of the standard F-PACE with a 650-litre boot and a 40:20:40 seat configuration that offers a total loadpsace of 1,740 litres.
The F-PACE SVR also features a suite of driver assistance and safety assistance features. Driver assistance features include Adaptive Cruise Control and Park Assist. From Jaguar Land Rover's extensive all-terrain expertise, the F-PACE SVR also features All Surface Progress Control and Adaptive Surface Response. These two systems work hand in hand to recognise low traction situations and differences between surfaces to offer optimum all-terrain abilities.
