Jaguar to reveal special edition XKR

Jaguar has announced a special edition version of their XKR coupe to be unveiled at this weekend's Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK.

To be called the XKR Goodwood Special, the car will be painted in a unique Lime Green paint, with satin graphite detailing applied to the grilles, headlights, door mirrors, window trim, rear spoiler and bonnet louvers. Other modifications include a modified exhaust, lowered ride height and new 21-inch wheels.

Aside from the new XKR special edition, other Jaguar highlights at Goodwood include the D-Type that won the 1957 Le Mans, the first C-Type to win Le Mans, and the one-off Le Mans racer, the XJ13, which didn't compete due to the company's financial instability. The speed record breaking XFR prototype will also be showcased.
