The F-TYPE Coupe, recently unveiled at the ongoing L.A. Auto Show, embodies the uncompromised design vision of the stunning Jaguar C-X16 concept that debuted at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. Its dramatic stance is defined by three heartlines. The first two heartlines - shared with F-TYPE Convertible - form the muscular front and rear wings while the third heartline focuses on the sweeping Coupe roof profile which provides an unbroken silhouette.

Available in three versions, the range topping F-TYPE R is powered by a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 lump that houses 542bhp and 680Nm of torque - delivering century mark acceleration in a jolting 4.0 seconds, before climbing to a governed top speed of 299km/h.
On the other hand, the F-TYPE S and base F-TYPE are powered by a 3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol engine with 374bhp, 460Nm torque and 335bhp, 450Nm torque delivery respectively. The F-TYPE S completes the century sprint in a brisk 4.8 seconds to race to a top speed of 275km/h while the base model accomplishes the same feat in 5.1 seconds before hitting a top speed of 259km/h.
Every F-TYPE Coupe is fitted with eight-speed close-ratio Quickshift transmission, with full manual sequential control from the gear lever or steering wheel-mounted paddles.

All F-TYPE models are equipped with Jaguar's Intelligent Stop/Start system which automatically shuts down the engine when the car comes to a halt.
Jaguar claims the system can restart the engine in lesser time than it takes for the driver's foot to depress the accelerator.
The F-TYPE Coupe model range is available with three audio systems, two of which are from Meridian with either 10 or 12 loudspeakers with outputs of 380W and 770W respectively. The top of the range offering also features Meridian's proprietary Trifield technology, which delivers an authentic and consistent surround sound to both occupants.

Jaguar's expertise in aluminium technology has enabled the delivery of a lightweight yet extremely strong bodyshell. The body is made from a single-piece aluminium pressing, eliminating the requirement for multiple panels and cosmetic joints. The roof panel itself is available in either aluminium or panoramic glass form.
