Jaguar XJ Ultimate goes to Beijing Motor Show

Jaguar has unveiled the all new XJ Ultimate, said to be top of the range in its fleet of luxurious cars in Beijing with higher levels of refinements and some updates to the exterior.

Based on the long-wheel-base version, the XJ Ultimate exterior updates include revised front bumper air intakes with chrome surround trim, 20-inch two-tone forged alloy wheels, oval tailpipes and Ultimate badging underneath the ‘XJ' nameplate and within the front fenders vents.

The interior of the XJ ultimate is truly defined. The two rear seats are trimmed in semi-aniline premium natural leather with massage function and climate controls, in addition to a rear power operated business table with iPad and keyboard housed and charged in dedicated leather-trimmed docks, full-length leather-trimmed centre console, champagne chiller and bespoke champagne flutes.

Rear-seat entertainment package includes twin headrest-mounted screens and wireless headphones connected to a 15-channel, 20-speaker surround sound system engineered specifically for the XJ by British audio specialists Meridian.

The XJ Ultimate is available with several engine options - the all-new 3.0-litre V6 supercharged petrol engine, the existing 5.0-litre V8 supercharged petrol engine, as well as the 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged diesel. All powertrains drive through eight-speed transmissions.
