A school bus with nine kindergarten students on board crashed through a barrier and into two stationary vehicles. The incident took place near Pei Hwa Presbyterian Primary School, near Upper Bukit Timah Road.
The Straits Times reported that the incident happened on Tuesday around noon time. School Principal, Mrs Helen Chua, told the local papers that the bus was on its way out of the kindergarten grounds, when the driver appeared to have lose control of his vehicle.
The children and bus attendant on board escaped with minor injuries. "Everyone had their seat bets on so that was probably what prevented something worse from happening," added Mrs Chua.
It is understood that the bus driver is in his late 40s, and has a clean driving record. Police investigations are ongoing.
