Land Rover decides against Convertible but may introduce panoramic roof

Land Rover said it would listen to the feedback on the model before pushing it for production, but the latest report from Car&Driver suggested that its production plans have been scrapped. This would mean either the feedback was poor or the automaker simply did not find a viable market in its feasibility studies.
However, the automaker may instead introduce a future version that comes with a panoramic roof which opens in a similar fashion to the ones found in Fiat 500C and Citroen DS3 Cabrio.
With their resources freed from this project, it is expected that Land Rover may channel the resources onto the new Defender.
Having been displayed as a concept model in 2012 at Geneva, the design study will apparently remain as what it is.
