The truck was built at JLR's Solihull Plant in England. And as it happens, the 1 millionth truck just happened to be built during the 40th anniversary year of Range Rover.
To celebrate, the truck was driven from Solihull to London by LR's Managing Director Phil Popham, followed by a convoy of classic Range Rovers.
Their destination was Earls Court in London, where Top Gear Live was being filmed.
Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson took delivery of the 1 millionth Range Rover on behalf of Help for Heroes. A local charity which helps wounded British soldiers, and their families. Clarkson is a patron of the organization.
The special RR will be auctioned off later this year. With proceeds going to Help for Heroes.
