Land Rover reveals new Range Rover SV Carmel Edition

Land Rover has unveiled a new ultra-exclusive Range Rover SV Carmel Edition at Range Rover House, the firm's own location in California, U.S.A, for owners and brand enthusiasts to retreat to during the excitement of Monterey Car Week.

The Range Rover SV Carmel Edition gets its inspiration from the town of Carmel at which the Range Rover House is also located. Described by Land Rover as the pearl of the California coastline, the car is said to feature colours and materials that express the beauty and tranquillity of the region.

The Range Rover SV Carmel Edition gets 23-inch diamond-turned Dark Grey Gloss forged alloy wheels

These features start with an SV Bespoke Special Effect Gloss White exterior paint, which features reflective fine white glass flake particles to recreate a shimmer synonymous with the Pacific Ocean. The car also gets 23-inch diamond-turned Dark Grey Gloss forged alloy wheels to match this exterior finish.

The cabin of the car is inspired by the warm beaches of Carmel, and features contrasting two-tone front-to-rear Perlino and Deep Garnet semi-aniline leather. Also inspired by the coast is the use of a Cream Ash Burr veneer, gloss white ceramic touchpoints, and Pearl Oyster carpets. This interior is finished with SV Bespoke Carmel Edition-embroidered cushions and illuminated treadplates.

Land Rover states that the clients of the Range Rover SV Carmel Edition will also receive two custom fit sets of Titlist Golf Clubs, select items from the 2024 Range Rover Merchandise collection, and VIP access to future Range Rover House activations. The car comes exclusively as a long wheelbase Range Rover, and is powered by the firm's twin-turbocharged V8.

A portion of the sales of the Range Rover SV Carmel Edition will be donated to the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.
