Man strips himself naked on North-South Line

The Straits Times reported that a male passenger began to undress during the journey on a Southbound train along the North-South Line, until he was completely naked. An SMRT spokesman said the man boarded the train at Bukit Batok station on Thursday evening.
A photo of the man went viral on citizen journalism website Stomp, with the caption reading 'started to strip bare naked and started playing with his genitals'. The netizen who posted it wrote that the man decided to lie down on the floor after that.
A passenger activated the emergency communication button to alert SMRT staff at 6:54pm, said the SMRT spokesman. SMRT staff then boarded the train at Khatib at 6:56pm to take the man away.
The man, 32, has since been arrested for allegedly committing an obscene act. Investigations are ongoing.
