Mansory shows off tuning package for Lamborghini Aventador: The Carbonado

First unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year, Mansory had continued to work on the tuning package for Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 ever since. Now, Mansory has released first images and details for a new version that incorporates more carbon fibre than what the standard model already has to offer. Named the Mansory Carbonado, or also known as the 'Black Diamond', only six models will be built.

As we already know, in standard form the Aventador LP700-4 already uses carbon fibre extensively, but Mansory has replaced almost every exterior panel with the strong composite material showcasing its natural carbon fibre weave pattern. Carbon fibre body components are now found in the front bumper fascia, front lip spoiler, front fenders, hood, side sills, quarter panels, rear apron with integrated diffuser and large rear wing. Mansory also exchanged the roof and engine compartment covers with carbon fibre versions. As a result of the new fenders and quarter panels, the width has grown by 40 millimetres on the front axle and 50 millimetres on the rear axle.

For performance Mansory optimised the engine-management and added a high-performance exhaust system, providing 743bhp at 8,300rpm and 750Nm compared to the standard 690bhp at 8,250rpm and 690Nm. The 12-cylinder accelerates the Aventador from zero to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. The top speed is also raised to 355km/h.

Mansory has put a lot of effort into the ultra-light forged rims with carbon-fibre inlays. They measure front to rear 9.0 x 20 and 13.0 x 21 with tyres in the sizes VA 255/30 ZR20 and HA 345/25 ZR21.

Interior is given the special leather treatment on the seats and dashboard, a newly designed airbag sports steering wheel made out of real carbon fibre and non-slip aluminum pedals.
