Mercedes-Benz C-Class and GLC SUV get updated

Mercedes-Benz has added upgrades to its C-Class and GLC models, making them more intelligent and individualised.
Both cars now come with an upgraded MBUX infotainment system which enables the installation of third-party apps. When equipped with the MBUX Entertainment Package Plus, the new feature will unlock access to new video streaming and games for both the driver and passengers. The central display has also been redesigned to its main icons are now presented in a simpler manner, and are arranged to mirror smartphone tiles for pleasant usability and ease of operation.
As part of the optional Premium Plus Package, the MBUX Entertainment Package Plus will be available, fitted with internet radio, music streaming, video streaming and a data package from a selected third-party provider. Thanks to the progressively expanded Mercedes me App Store, the digital experience in both the C-Class and GLC can always be updated and expanded according to individual wishes and requirements. On top of this, the package also comes with a Burmester 3D surround sound system with Dolby Atmos.
With the use of artificial intelligence, MBUX can now be personalised with automated convenience functions. Drivers are now able to use templates for standard routines. On top of the preset templates, it is also possible to create personalised routines. Functions and conditions can be linked together such as turning on heat seating when the temperature drops below a certain temperature. All of the templates can be operated via the central display and are arranged in a carousel-style menu on screen.
Exclusively for the GLC SUV and the GLC Coupe, drivers can now opt for a digital key, allowing them to conveniently lock, unlock and start the vehicle. It is also possible to have key sharing with up to 16 people. Pre-installation for the digital vehicle key is part of Keyless-Go in markets where Mercedes me connect services are available.
On top of all of this, both models are also now available in Manufaktur alpine grey uni with the GLC also being offered in verde silver metallic. For the first time ever, a leather-free steering wheel is also available.
