Mercedes-Benz has revealed the updated EQA and EQB, just after revealing the updated GLA and GLB crossovers in March 2023.
Both cars now come with a redesigned black panel surface at the front, which now gets the Mercedes star pattern. The bumpers here have also been redesigned, to better emphasise the width of the vehicles. At the rear, the cars have been updated with new internals in their taillights.
Four new alloy wheels in sizes ranging from 18 to 20-inches and two new paint finishes -spectral blue and high-tech silver - are also now available for both models.
Both cars also now get increased range, which Mercedes states comes as a result to efficiency updates including aerodynamic optimisation measures as well as the use of tyres with less rolling resistance. The WLTP range of the EQA now stands at 560km, while the EQB now gets a maximum range of 536km.
Further aiding versatility in the EQB is the addition of a trailer hitch with ESP trailer stabilisation. Available as an option for the first time for the five-seat EQB, the car gets a maximum braked towing capacity of 1,400kg for the front-wheel drive variants, while all-wheel drive variants bump this figure up to 1,700kg.
In the cabin, both the Mercedes-Benz EQA and EQB now get an updated MBUX system which can now offer three display styles, while the steering wheel of both cars have also been updated.
The optional Burmester surround sound system for both cars also have been upgraded so it offers the immersive Dolby Atmos audio experience, giving the played audio more space, clarity, and depth.
