Smart presents the Concept #2 and #6 EHD in Beijing

Smart has marked a new chapter in its evolution at its Global Brand Event, which was held in Beijing on 22 April 2026, with the global debut of the Smart Concept #2 and the world premiere of the Smart #6 EHD.

Guided by Smart's design philosophy of "Love, Pure, Unexpected", the Concept #2 is exclusively styled by the Mercedes-Benz Global Design Team: It features a matt white and warm gold two-tone exterior palette alongside fine leather hardware.

Despite only having 2,792mm of length, the Smart Concept #2 is said to maximise interior space brilliantly

This concept features Smart's "wheels-at-the-corner" setup, which helps to maximise interior space, and is also engineered on the brand's all-new, self-developed Electric Compact Architecture. For the Concept #2, Smart is envisioning an electric range of up to nearly 300km as well as DC fast charging that can charge from 10-80% in under 20 minutes.

Smart has said that the production model is set to make its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show in October 2026.

For now, the Smart #6 EHD will unfortunately be a China-only model

As for the Smart #6 EHD, this model is the brand's first entry into the premium fastback sedan segment and will be launching exclusively in China.

Also created by the Mercedes-Benz Global Design Team, the #6 EHD is described as pairing executive-level spaciousness with a sleek, aerodynamic silhouette that is inspired by a shark.

In addition, Smart's customer service brand - Smart care - will launch across Europe from the second half of 2026.
