MINI announces change in management team

MINI has announced that starting from 1 Jan 2025, Federico Izzo - currently Head of MINI U.K. - will take over as Head of the MINI brand for Europe. At the same time, MINI U.K., which was previously run as a separate sales region, will become part of the European sales region.

Izzo joined the BMW Group in 2007, holding various management positions in the group's brands, before moving to MINI U.K. in 2022. Additionally, Ulrike von Mirbach - currently heading the MINI brand in Europe - will assume responsibility for brand management and marketing of the MINI brand worldwide on 1 January 2025.

Previously responsible for the BMW brand's marketing strategy in the German market, she took over as Head of the MINI brand in Germany in 2021 and moved to the European level just a year later. Her predecessor, Sebastian Beuchel, will take over as Head of Special Protection Vehicles Sales, Special Customers of the BMW Group on 1 January 2025.
