MINI reveals new John Cooper Works Bulldog Racing Edition

Fans of the MINI brand looking for a bit more of a touch of motorsport in their car now have the option to get a new MINI Bulldog Racing Edition.

Based on the MINI John Cooper Works and equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox, the MINI Bulldog Racing Edition comes with a total of 228bhp and 320Nm.

The special car is being built to celebrate the Bulldog Racing team's second place finish at Nurburg, said to be the best result yet seen by a MINI in a 24-hour race in its 64-year history.

The MINI Bulldog Racing Edition is said to take after the race car employed by the racing team, although some of the features enforced by competition regulations have been dispensed off in favour of everyday usability.

The rear seats of the special edition car have been replaced by a strut with fitting mesh and carpeting

Features for the special edition car include a KW V3 adjustable suspension, which has been tuned by one of Bulldog Racing's professional drivers on the Nordschleife. The MINI Bulldog Racing Edition also comes with 17-inch OZ HyperGT alloy wheels and P Zero Performance tyres, as well as a Remus sports exhaust system.

And for a truly motorsport-inspired touch, the rear seats of the MINI Bulldog Racing Edition have also been replaced by a strut with fitting mesh and carpeting. The cars also get an individual badge, identifying their limited edition status and documenting the day its suspension was set up on the Nordschleife.

On the outside, the car gets a large Bulldog Racing decorative roof foil, which traditionally adorns every race car of the team.
