The charismatic and charming Citroen C3 continues its offensive in the highly competitive B-segment by strengthening its unique design, colourful personality and unparalleled comfort in its latest update.
The C3's desire to stand out from the crowd is now even more intense. The bold style of its new front end, which showcases the new brand signature, takes its inspiration from the Cxperience Concept, first unveiled at the Paris Motor Show.
The new C3 also gains new LED head lights and new 17-inch alloy wheels. The side Airbumps have also been redesigned, and now are made up of a set of three capsules positioned at the bottom of the doors, with a colourful insert which follows the Colour Pack chosen by the customer for an impressive new look.
The new C3 also now has an extended customisation potential, increasing from 36 to 97 different possible combinations. This is aided by two new body colours - Elixir Red and Spring Blue - as well as the new bi-tone choices that alter the colour of the roof, door mirrors and the rear quarter panel trim. New coloured inserts around the fog lights and the Airbump panels, as well as new graphic trims decorating the roof, also deliver more personalisation options and a more visually distinctive car.
On the interior, a brand-new 'Techwood' interior ambiance is also available, bringing with it soft-touch materials and special stitching.
The marriage of an elegant dashboard strip with a 'lightwood' appearance (also inspired by the Cxperience Concept) and a lightly coloured trim on the upper part of the seats provides elegance and warmth in the passenger compartment, immersing occupants in a 'cosy' bubble on every drive.
The new C3 also features Advanced Comfort seats - a true Citroen innovation. The generous seats provide enhanced comfort, both visually and in terms of posture, with a padding graphic effect and lumbar support that is adjustable on the driver's side. From the first contact, the added comfort is felt with a special foam on the surface and thickened fabric for unrivalled softness.
International petrol engine options for the C3 include the 83bhp three-cylinder PureTech engine mated to an S&S five-speed manual, and the 110bhp PureTech engine mated to an S&S six-speed manual gearbox. The PureTech 110 is also optionally available with the EAT6 automatic gearbox.
11 driver assistance technologies, including a new Front Parking Assist, as well as Lane Departure Warning and a Blind Spot Monitoring System, ensure a hassle-free driving experience in the C3.
