Motorcyclist dies in BKE accident

A motorcycle was involved in a collision with a truck on the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) during the evening rush hours on Monday. The police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force were notified of the accident at around 6:30pm, but paramedics declared the 27-year old biker dead at the scene.

The pillion rider, a 24-year old man, escaped the accident with minor abrasions. He was taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, where he was discharged later in the evening.
