Renault Group supports UN Special Envoy for Road Safety

The Renault Group has announced that it is partnering with the Secretariat of the UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Road Safety to draw attention to road safety around the world, provide training and deploy technological breakthroughs to save lives.

The group aims to work towards ever safer and more accessible mobility benefiting everyone on roads through this new partnership, which is set to span for two years and will see it sharing the expertise it has gathered through its long-standing commitment to road safety. The group will also support the UN's aim to halve the number of global deaths and injuries from road traffic crashes.

The Renault Group states that it pledges to reduce the number of road crashes and victims, rank road user safety as the top priority, study driver behaviour and use the insights it gleans to direct innovation, constantly upgrade vehicle safety, and support rescue services.
