Motorcyclist killed after collision with trailer on BKE

A motorcyclist died in an accident with a trailer truck on the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) towards Woodlands, after the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) entrance yesterday afternoon.
Police received the call about the accident at about 3:50pm. The motorcyclist, believed to be in his 40s, was pronounced dead after Singapore Civil Defence Force personnel arrived at the scene.
It was understood that both vehicles were registered in Malaysia. Police investigations are ongoing.
