Nefu launches new vehicle camera for trucks

It is time to take control of your vehicle's security and protect yourself from possible threats like vandalism, collisions, and theft. Getting a dash cam is an effective way to see who was at fault in a car accident and provide evidence, assisting in insurance claims.

Nefu, the leading dash cam brand in Korea has unveiled its latest creation, the Nefu Plabo-T 2 Channel Full HD WiFi 256GB. It is a non-LCD dash camera that sports various smart features, including an external waterproof Full HD IP69K rated rear camera and a 20m cable making it suitable for trucks.

The external Full HD rear camera is waterproof and has a heavy-duty aluminium die-cast body, with a wide viewing angle of 128° diagonally as well as seven IR LEDs. The rear camera is light and compact with a size of 50x40x30 (mm). Its small size makes it fuss free and easy to install.

The camera's IP69K rating guarantees protection against ingress of dust, high temperatures, as well as high pressure water. This makes it ideal for use in conditions where equipment must be carefully sanitised, such as in food processing. The use of water jets, chemicals and high temperatures can otherwise destroy other non-rated electronic circuits and instrumentation.

Nefu has additionally created a Smart App that allows you to edit your recordings directly from your smartphone. The Smart App enables you to cut the recordings to your choice of length and share it through Dropbox, Google Drive or Onedrive directly. You may also share it through applications such as WhatsApp and Telegram without having to download the recordings beforehand. This will help you save time as you do not have to use a PC to view or download your recordings.

The Smart App also offers a 'History' tab that will show you the recording details in an orderly manner. The app will also indicates the duration, location, speed and average speed of the vehicle accordingly.

A separate tab further allows you to retrieve any event mode recordings. Event mode recording is triggered when there are any motions detected, such as when going over a hump, allowing you to quickly comb through the significant events of any drive.
