Pagani releases Zonda Cinque Roadster (2009)

Pagani has unveiled a roadster version of its Zonda, the Cinque. With just five of these roofless Cinque Roadsters to be made, fed with a 669bhp V12 engine, the roadster will bear a price tag of £1.1m (S$2,234,865), which makes it pretty special.
You might think that Pagani's coupe version of the Cinque was supposed to be a last-hurrah for the Zonda, but if Horacio Pagani wants to build 5 more gorgeous Cinques without a roof for you to really hear that 7.3-litre V12 wail, why argue?
What turns the Zonda into a Cinque besides its open top, is the longer front spoiler, a flat undertray and diffuser, plus a new rear wing, all of which is enough to create the same 750kg of downforce at 299km/h that Pagani claims for the coupe version.
Weight-wise the Roadster also weighs the same 1210kg as the coupe (and 20kg less than the Roadster F), thanks to a carbon-titanium monocoque, magnesium and titanium suspension, aluminium and magnesium alloy wheels and carbon Brembo brakes, bringing the same mesmerising acceleration figures to 0-100km/h in 3.4 seconds.
Pushed by an AMG-tuned Mercedes 7.3-litre V12 engine, it sucks air in through an intake, sprouting above the cockpit of the Zonda creating 669bhp, and then sends it to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential manual gearbox, making the four ceramic-coated titanium exhausts scream in anger.
