Aston Martin welcomes new performance-focused Vantage S

Aston Martin has announced the arrival of the new Vantage S, the most performance focused Vantage in its sports car range.
Central to the Vantage S is an upgraded version of the formidable 4.0-litre V8 engine. This means the Vantage S now boasts an output of 671bhp and 800Nm of torque. In addition, by offering a resistance matched to a drive-by-wire throttle map bespoke to the 'S' variant and tuned for each of the Drive Modes, the Vantage S is said to deliver an even greater sense of connection between car and driver.
Calibration changes have also been made to the powertrain, with optimisation of the Launch Control system resulting in a century sprint timing of 3.3 seconds. Top speed of the Aston Martin Vantage S, meanwhile, has been raised to a total of 325km/h.
At the front, the new Vantage S is identified by its new centrally mounted bonnet blades. Finished in gloss black or 2x2 Twill carbon fibre, these vents provide a more assertive design character and optimise the extraction of hot air from the 'hot-V' engine. Model designation, meanwhile, is restricted to a hand-made 'S' signature badging on its front fenders.
At the rear, a full width decklid spoiler is used to tune the aerodynamics of the Vantage S, adding stability while ensuring the overall balance of downforce is still biased towards the front-end to generate exceptional turn-in response and sustain a high level of cornering grip.
The Vantage S continues with bespoke 'S' cues inside the car, with a unique Alcantara and leather 'Accelerate' interior as standard with satin 2x2 twill carbon fibre trim inlays. Embroidered 'S' logos also feature in the upper shoulder panel of the seats, with Aston Martin wings embroidered onto the headrests.
The Vantage S is available for order in the U.K., alongside the Vantage, in both Coupe and Roadster, with its first deliveries expected in the last quarter 2025.
