Think the Porsche 911 GT3 is a little too tame? Well, take off that straitjacket and sign on the dotted line here because Porsche has unveiled a new Manthey Kit designed for the track-honed racer.
The kit tightens the 911 GT3 further for performance on the circuit with increased aerodynamic downforce alongside upgraded suspension and brakes. Porsche states that with the kit you'll be able to lap the Nurburgring Nordschleife in just six minutes and 52.981 seconds - a fair bit faster than the regular Porsche 911 GT3's lap time of six minutes and 56.294 seconds.
The Manthey Kit adds a larger rear wing and some rather tasty carbon-fibre wheel covers to your 911 GT3
For the detail oriented, the Manthey Kit will replace the entire underbody of the 911 GT3 into one continuous aerodynamic element, complete with extended turning vanes for increased downforce. The kit also adds a redesigned front lip and front diffuser fins alongside a new rear diffuser, while the rear wing of the car has been widened and now sports a Gurney flap alongside enlarged end plates. Also new are the use of carbon-fibre wheel covers - a mighty tasty addition.
Adding to all this is a new four-way coilover suspension system, developed by Porsche together with Manthey. The system is said to allow adjustment of rebound and compression without tools, and offers increased mechanical grip and stability – even when driving over circuit kerbs.
Customers will also get braided steel brake lines with the kit, although the option to add special racing brake pads for the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake system are also available with the Manthey Kit.
The Manthey Kit for the 911 GT3 is expected to be available from March 2026 at your nearest Porsche Centre.
