New Porsche 911 variant to make digital world premiere

Porsche has announced that a new variant of the 911 is set to make its world premiere on 14 April 2026 at 10:00pm Singapore time.

The new variant will be presented in an entertaining film that sees well-known car experts unsuspectingly putting the model through its first tests on the mountain roads of Tenerife.

Not much has been revealed about the car yet, with Porsche only teasing that it will offer "pure driving pleasure". Meanwhile, a image of the car under wraps indicates the absence of a massive rear wing - which precludes the possibility of this being a new 911 GT3 RS. To refresh your memory slightly, the brand has already refreshed the base 911 Carrera, the 911 GT3, as well as the 911 Carrera GTS and 911 Turbo S, both of which have now gotten hybrid power. 

Interested viewers can find a live broadcast of the new 911's digital world premiere at either the Porsche newsroom or on the brand's YouTube channel, with the latter being the easier option, especially for those on mobile.
