Rolls-Royce unveils new Spirit of Ecstasy

Rolls-Royce has revealed a new Spirit of Ecstasy, set to adorn the front of its cars following from the new, all-electric Spectre.
The new figure marks 111 years since the original Spirit of Ecstasy was first registered as intellectual property of Rolls-Royce.
The new Spirit of Estacy now sits shorter than her predecessor, thanks to a new stance that sees her bracing against the oncoming wind This new figurine has been remodelled with a lower, more dynamic stance, said to be much closer to the drawings made by her original creator, the Illustrator and Sculptor Charles Sykes.
Where she previously stood with legs together, straight, and tilting at the waist, now she stands ready to brace for the wind, with one leg forward, body tucked low, and eyes focused eagerly ahead.
Beyond the stylistic improvements, her new stance is also said to come with a practical benefit: Now more aerodynamic than ever, she will contribute to the upcoming Spectre's remarkable aerodynamic properties.
The new stance of the Spirit of Ecstasy also means she now stands 82.73mm tall, compared to her predecessor's 100.01mm. Other design touches include changes to her robes, which flow behind her in the slipstream - often but erroneously characterised as 'wings' - which have also been subtly reshaped to make them more aerodynamic and realistic.
