Service adjustments ahead for Bukit Panjang LRT Line

Take the Bukit Panjang LRT? You'll want to make alternative arrangements if you depend on the line to get home late at night.

The LTA has announced that services on the Bukit Panjang LRT will see adjustments in August and October 2023 to facilitate system renewal works. The line will close an hour early at 10:30pm on 12, 13, 19 and 20 August 2023. No train services will also be available on the Bukit Panjang LRT line on 1 October 2023.

Commuters are advised to take existing bus services that serve Bukit Panjang and/or Choa Chu Kang during the affected weekends in August to continue their journeys after 10.30pm. These services include 67, 171, 920, 922, 960, 963, 972, 972M, 973, 974 and 976. A shuttle service will be provided on 1 October 2023.

These disruptions are being made to allow an upgrade to the line's Operations Control Centre, which monitors the signalling, power supply and communications systems as well as station facilities.
