Mercedes-AMG has updated the six-cylinder models of the AMG GT 4-Door.
The cars continue to be available as either the Mercedes-AMG GT43 and the Mercedes-AMG GT53 (read our review of the outgoing model here). The first gets 362bhp, while the second gets an output of 429bhp, both from a 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder engine with twin turbocharging and an integrated starter alternator.
Also new for the six-cylinder AMG GT 4-Door models is an updated MBUX system while the electric sliding sunroof is now standard The models now get a new front apron, which sports two decorative outer air intakes, alongside a third, central one that sits under the radiator grille.
Customers may now, however, opt for a V8 Styling Package, which is said to draw from the AMG GT Black Series. This package endows the car with a wide, lower air intake and additional aid deflection elements at the outer edge.
The models also now get the electric sliding sunroof and the wireless charging port for smartphones between the rear seats as standard. The intelligent, digital infotainment system MBUX has also been updated with a new look, redesigned AMG-specific displays and individually configurable functions.
