Skoda reveals exterior sketches of next Kodiaq

Skoda has revealed new exterior sketches of the new Kodiaq just one week ahead of its global premiere.

The sketches reveal that the car is set to get a sculptural front end, squared-off wheel arches, and a sizeable rear bumper. But most interesting to potential owners, perhaps, is the fact that the D-pillar of the car will come in a unique Dark Chrome finish.

Skoda states that the car will be offered with wheel sizes from 17 to 20-inches, while Matrix head lights featuring crystalline design elements will also be available.

The firm has previously announced that the SUV will be available with a range of petrol-only drivetrains that include a 1.5-litre engine that produces 148bhp and a 2.0-litre engine that produces 201bhp. Both these engines will come mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
