The Q70's new looks underscore the prestige of the performance sedan

With a fresh exterior the 2015 Infiniti Q70 (formerly carrying the M nameplate) targets a new vehicle class by blending the character of a performance vehicle with the comfort and exclusiveness of an extended sedan. Infiniti is now extending its Q70 family with the introduction of a long wheelbase variant to markets around the world.

The additional 149mm in the wheelbase increases the knee and leg space in the back along with boosting the athletic presence of the sedan.

The distinctive headlights highlight the refined grille, which now takes on a more three-dimensional look thanks to the elaborate detailing of the mesh finish and chrome surround. The same solid feel is echoed in the new front bumper with integrated fog lights.

At the back, the new design of the taillights creates a horizontal flow in motion while the premium lighting signature evokes a fresh and classy image.

The premium interior greets occupants with high-quality materials such as handcrafted wood accents and custom leather appointments with high attention to detail in addition to user centred technologies. The instrument panel consists of Fine Vision gauges and a 7.0-inch full colour vehicle information display.

On top of offering auto closing rear doors, the long wheelbase version of the new Q70 also provides additional features such as heated seats, reading lights, and a 12V power outlet for rear occupants.

A range of powerful and highly efficient powertrains are available, starting with the 3.7-litre V6 and 5.6-litre V8 petrol engines.

The refined 3.7-litre V6 is rated at 330bhp and 366Nm of torque. The more powerful 5.6-litre V8 is rated at 420bhp and 565Nm of torque for the standard and 416bhp and 561Nm for the long wheelbase version.

Also available is an award-winning hybrid powertrain which combines a 3.5-litre V6 and compact laminated lithium-ion battery design with an innovative one-motor/two-clutch motor control. The system's V6 is rated at 302bhp and 350Nm of torque, while the advanced electric motor is rated at 67bhp and 290Nm of torque.
