The updated Range Rover and Range Rover Sport have been launched in Singapore, featuring a wealth of changes to deliver a more refined and luxurious driving experience.
The updated exterior features a distinctive new grille and bumper design, as well as the new Pixel LED head lights, which controls 142 individual LEDs to maximise the amount of light projected onto the road.
Inside, the Range Rover is more comfortable, luxurious and high-tech than before. New seats provide greater recline, legroom and foot space, and high-quality leathers ensure that the occupants have maximum comfort. The top-of-the-line Semi-Aniline leather seats offer 24-way adjustment, alongside integrated climate and massage settings as well.
Executive Class Seating is also available, offering added functionality and luxury. Featuring wider seat frames, deeper foams and plush comfort interlayers, this creates the impression of a wraparound lounge-like interior. There is also a new power-deployable centre console, providing rear passengers a place to put drinks and personal items.
The updated Range Rover also delivers state-of-the-art technology, headlined by Jaguar Land Rover's Touch Pro Duo infotainment system. Two high-definition 10.0-inch screens form the centrepiece of the minimalist cabin. The two rotary Dynamic Dials within the lower screen can be used to adjust a variety of functions, ranging from air-con to Terrain Response settings.
A comprehensive set of safety systems is also available on the new Range Rover. Core features include a rear camera, lane departure warning, emergency braking, front and rear park distance control, cruise control as well as speed limiter.
Additionally, the 'Drive Pack' adds a blind spot monitor, adaptive speed limiter, driver condition monitor and traffic sign recognition. The 'Drive Pro Pack' also includes high speed emergency braking, lane keep assist, and an improved adaptive cruise control with queue assist. A 'Park Pack' offers 360-degree parking aid, a reverse traffic monitor and clear exit monitor, while the 'Park Pack Pro' offers park assist as well.
At launch, the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport is available with a supercharged 3.0-litre V6 engine, delivering 335bhp and 450Nm of torque. Other engine variants are available on indent, including two diesel options (3.0-litre V6 and 4.4-litre V8), as well as a supercharged 5.0-litre V8.
Sitting at the top of the lineup is the Range Rover Sport SVR, the flagship model that places an enhanced focus on performance. Under the bonnet lies a retuned supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine producing 567bhp and 700Nm of torque, 25bhp more than before. Changes to the damping hardware have also helped to improve turn-in, mid-corner grip and body control.
The SVR also comes with a carbon fibre composite bonnet with integrated air vents, which can be had with a unique paint option that leaves the carbon weave exposed. This can be complemented with the 'Carbon Fibre Exterior Pack', which incorporates more carbon fibre detailing on the front bumper, grille, fender vents, mirror covers and tailgate.
The new Range Rover and Range Rover Sport are available for order now. The Range Rover Sport SVR is available for order on an indent basis only.
