Train service on North-East Line disrupted by fault

Train service on the North-East Line (NEL) was disrupted on Saturday morning. Commuters heading towards Harbourfront were told to expect 15 minutes more travelling time at around 7:20am.
Free bus services were deployed to ferry passengers between Harbourfront and Dhoby Ghaut stations at 7:33am.
Train operator SBS Transit said service resumed at 7:57am and was running smoothly by 8:26am.
