Trans Eurokars launches new MINI Cabrio!

Accounting for worldwide sales of some 164,000 units, the MINI Cabrio continues as a third body version within the MINI model family.
MINI says that the new one is a marked evolution of the car's development and design. The body features two doors and a soft roof that includes a separate sliding, electro-hydraulic roof function.
Customers have the option to open and close the soft top while driving at speeds of up to 30 km/h. An optional "Always-Open" timer determines the time spent travelling with the roof down.
This time round, a wider range of paintwork colours, roof colours, wheel rims, upholstery and interior trim providing even greater choice in customising the car.
Inside, there's a large through-loading storage option between the luggage and passenger compartment, while an easy-load system provides an even larger opening into the luggage compartment. The rear seat backrests fold down individually, and when done so, will reveal luggage space of 660 litres, 55 litres more than the outgoing MINI Cabrio.
As expected, the MINI Cabrio will benefit from the new generation of PSA Peugeot-Citroen 1.6-litre, four-cylinder petrol engines, with twin-scroll turbochargers and fully variable valve management in the Cooper S and Cooper respectively.
MINI assures buyers and fans alike that the Cabrio will still have that unique front-driven, go-kart-like handling ability typical of the brand, despite the absence of a roof.
The suspension has been tailored specifically to the MINI Convertible, of which an Electromechanical Power Steering (EPS), anti-lock brakes (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), cornering brake control (CBC), brake assistant and dynamic stability control are all standard feature.
The dynamic traction control system includes the option of an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. A communication package that consists of a MINI Navigation Portable and USB iPod interface will also come as standard.
Prices start from $127,800 for the MINI Cooper Cabrio, while the range topping MINI Cooper S Cabrio will retail for $147,800.
