Vitesse AuDessus gets creative in carbon fibre for the Lamborghini Aventador

Just days after McLaren unwrapped its first limited edition production car with an exposed carbon fibre finish - the MSO Carbon Series LT - a car built due to customer demand, another naked carbon fibre supercar has just been announced.
However, this time, the car is a Lamborghini and, to be specific, the company's current production flagship Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster. But the carbon fibre trickery on display was not performed in house. Instead, it is by U.S.A.-based exotic material specialists Vitesse AuDessus, who bill themselves as a Savile Row tailor for your supercar - so long as your material of choice is carbon fibre, that is.
Of the decision to take a car that is already extremely rare, expensive and interspersed with carbon fibre and give it a makeover, company CEO Stefany Sanchez said, "There is no doubt that the Superveloce is an absolutely stunning supercar. One of the car's few aesthetic failings lies in the use of highly visible plastic bodywork. Several SV owners approached us seeking a carbon fibre option for these parts, namely the lower front bumper, side skirts, rear diffuser and mirrors."
However, the company hasn't stopped there. There's a carbon roof and even carbon fibre tyres available in a choice of styles. "Our tyres are the lightest and strongest tyres available on the market today. By shedding more than 25kg of unsprung weight, our tyres markedly improve acceleration, handling and fuel economy," explained Sanchez.
