Volkswagen ID. Buzz Cargo gets new supporter in the U.K.

U.K.-based property maintenance and zero-carbon retrofit services firm Wates Property Services has added 30 examples of the all-electric Volkswagen ID. Buzz Cargo van and 30 examples of the Volkswagen Transporter van to its fleet of maintenance vehicles.

Wates states that it selected the ID. Buzz Cargo to help reduce its fleet emissions footprint, alongside the fact that it offers an electric range of 408km that makes sustainable mobility simple, while allowing access to properties in the various Ultra-Low Emissions Zones of London.

The all-electric van offers a payload volume of 3.9m² and a maximum loading width of 1.7m, height of 1.3m and length of 2.2m, providing business-ready practicality for Wates and their customers

The Volkswagen Transporter's 1,185kg payload, meanwhile, also met Wates requirement for a fleet of larger vehicles that combine class-leading payload, space and flexibility to complete larger jobs.
