Volkswagen marks Polo's 50th birthday with miniature exhibit

To commemorate the Polo's 50^th birthday, Volkswagen has created a special miniature car train (1:87 scale) at the 'Miniatur Wunderland', one of Germany's popular tourist attractions located in Hamburg's Speicherstadt.

A total of 70 miniature Polo models will make their rounds on 12 train carriages, sporting anniversary branding, in the miniature area of the "City of Hamburg". This will take it past the city's sights such as the Elbphilharmonie, Elbe bridges, and the harbour. Even the stations in the "City of Hamburg" are decorated with billboards sporting the "50 Years of Polo" logo.
