Volkswagen is set to unveil the ID.5 GTX coupe SUV at the IAA Munich Motor Show.
Volkswagen's first coupe SUV based on the Modular Electric Drive Matrix is said to wow with its elegant design and powerful dual motor four-wheel drive.
In the front, the SUV coupe will get Volkswagen's IQ.Light LED matrix head lights. The light strip that tapers towards the Volkswagen logo has been combined with three powerful, illuminated honeycomb elements on both the driver and passenger side. They complement the signature of the dipped beam and convey the ID.5 GTX’s athletic character even while stationary.
Sloping A-pillars positioned right near the front give the roof line an elegant flow that stretches low over the body and tapers out in an integrated rear spoiler. At the rear, horizontal lines accentuate the width, with the light strip attracting the most attention. The LED rear lights sport a 3D design to complete the feeling of luxury.
Projected WLTP range for the ID.5 GTX is 497km thanks to a 77kWh net battery capacity.
