Volkswagen's ID. 4 enters the realm of Godzilla x Kong

Volkswagen is collaborating with Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment on the release of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.

Alongside the highly anticipated return of Rebecca Hall, Bryan Tyree and Kaylee Hottle, the Godzilla x Kong's cast has grown with the addition of a new member: Volkswagen's ID. 4. 

Volkswagen's ID. 4 is joining the Godzilla x Kong cast in the franchise's latest instalment: Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire

In conjunction with the movie's release, Volkswagen Headquarter and Volkswagen Japan have collaborated on short-form content for social media. Set in the monstrous universe of Godzilla x Kong, the two parties offered snippets and peeks between the electrifying ID. 4, and the iconic Titans. Beyond showcasing the capabilities of the ID. 4, a light-hearted storytelling element was also added to the clips crafted. 

This isn't the first time Volkswagen has made a recent appearance in the world of film; the brand also collaborated with Disney+ on a Star Wars limited series, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor and Mandalorian, as part of its new brand positioning. Beyond that, Volkswagen has also worked on Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir - The Movie and Marvel Studios' Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.
