VWCV launches special California Energy model

On the 20^th anniversary of the California Beach model, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles (VWCV) has started pre-sales for its brand-new special California Energy model at the 2025 Caravan Salon trade show.

Based on the California Beach Camper, the model comes with an even more extensive equipment package that includes an awning, a camper van auxiliary heater including remote control, air care climatronic three-zone air conditioning system, and a basic parking package.

The Energy equipment specification also includes features such as a lighting package, which includes light assist main-beam control, dynamic headlight range control, and rain sensor. Standard equipment includes proactive occupant protection system, heated front seats, and the heated multifunction leather steering wheel with paddles and Energy logo.

VWCV has said that the California Coast and Ocean versions will also make their debut at the event alongside the California Energy model. All three models mentioned are made entirely in-house at VWCW's production plants.
