World premiere of the Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid at the Paris Motor Show

Porsche will soon offer three plug-in hybrid models in its range, including the recently unveiled Cayenne S E-Hybrid, which will debut in Paris.

The Cayenne S E-Hybrid can still accomplish the benchmark century sprint in just 5.9 seconds, before climbing to a top speed of 123km/h in pure electric mode.

The hybrid sports SUV also has pure electric range of 36km, thanks to a lithium-ion traction battery with an energy capacity of 10.9kW/h.

This powertrain has already been widely accepted by consumers as Porsche revealed that around nine percent of the 16,698 Panamera's that were delivered to customers worldwide during the first eight months of 2014, were Panamera S E-Hybrids.

The Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid will be presented to the general public for the first time on the 2^nd of October during the official Porsche press conference at the Paris Motor Show - which will be broadcast live.

Alongside the Cayenne S E-Hybrid, Porsche will also present the other models that comprise the new generation of Cayenne including the Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, and Cayenne Diesel.
