After releasing the first official photos of the restyled exterior, Kia Motors has unveiled full details about the new Sportage, along with providing a look into the interior of the car. Set to make its debut at this month's Frankfurt Motor Show, the all new Sportage features an attractive new exterior and interior, a host of advanced new technology features and greater quality.
The coming fourth generation Sportage boasts an all new interior, with the focus on simple and modern design functionality. The cabin has been designed around two clearly defined zones - 'display' and 'control'. The display zone is focused on delivering information clearly, through a wide, driver-oriented dashboard. The central console then forms the control zone, with function buttons made to be clearly visible to the driver even when on the move.
The new Sportage is also bigger than its predecessor (40mm longer), offering greater headroom, legroom and interior space for driver and passengers alike.
For the first time, a new 'GT Line' specification is available to Sportage customers. GT Line specification delivers all the versatility of the standard Sportage while adding greater visual and dynamic appeal to those customers that desire it. The new sportage will also feature a new 1.6-litre T-DGI petrol engine and a significantly upgraded 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine.
The all new Kia Sportage is set to go on sale in Europe in Q1 of 2016.
