As if being the very last W16-powered car was not enough, the Chiron Profilee has now set a new world record as the most valuable new car ever auctioned.
The one-of-a-kind Bugatti has sold for an incredible 9,792,500 Euros net (more than $14 million SGD) on 1 February 2023. With production of the Chiron, W16 Mistral, and the Bolide now completely sold out, this auction represented the very last opportunity to get hold of the W16 engine directly from the Atelier in Molsheim, France
The Bugatti Chiron Profilee is distinguished from other cars from the firm, thanks to features including its fixed rear wing, the use of a woven leather finish in its cabin, the Argent Atlantique exterior paint finish, as well as the use of a special wheel design inspired by the famous Bugatti horseshoe grille. The latter two features, Bugatti states, will only be found on this Profilee.
