Held every year in Las Vegas, this is where tuners from around the world go to unveil their latest body kits, and wheel designs. The show also plays host to countless custom creations by carmakers, and car designers.
And this year, the "new" Chrysler Corp. is showing off a few decked-out versions of its latest models.
Known as Mopar Underground, Chrysler's "skunk works" has been hard at work, creating some seriously cool cars for the show. And, a few of them are even slated for production.
RedLine Charger
The Charger was completely redesigned for 2011, but they added a bunch of new parts anyway. Namely a side scoop, reminiscent of the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T.
Challenger 392
This production car will have the latest incarnation of Chrysler's Hemi V8, which has been bored out to 6.4 litres, and makes 470-hp, with 470 lb/ft of torque. So™it'll pass everything but a gas station.
Challenger Drag Pak V10
This too is a production model. But™it's a Factory built drag car!
Complete with a 512-cubic inch V10 (borrowed from the Viper), a two-speed transmission, a roll cage, and a fuel cell!
Fiat 500GT
Apparently, the Abarth 500 was just too tame for the "Dodge Boys". So, they fitted the little Italian runabout with flared fenders, 18-inch wheels, blacked-out trim, and a red driver's seat.
They haven't said if this one's destined for production. But, it would be nice™
