The i-MiEV Evolution borrows major components from the electric Colt i-Miev housed in a custom shell. The racing-specific body has been developed in cooperation with several other companies, and uses a tube-frame chassis and a carbon fibre cowl among other technical features specially designed to reduce weight and improve aerodynamics.
