RWS valets caught for taking a $1m Ferrari for a spin

Last Tuesday, a Ferrari owner left the key to his 458 sportscar to the valets at Resort World Sentosa (RWS). But instead of keeping the car under their safeguard, these two valets took it for a joyride on the island.
The Straits Times reported that the owner left the car keys to the valets at around 2am when he was meeting a friend for supper. The 61-year old returned to the same spot at 3:30am, but to his dismay, the car was missing. He had repeatedly instructed the valet not to move or drive his car when he passed the key over.
Upon checking his in-car camera, the owner realised that his Ferrari has been taken out for a joyride. In the footage, the valets bragged about having driven a Lamborghini and an Audi. They even described the 458's handling as 'smooth'.
On the incident, a RWS spokesman reassured that all cases involving guest property are taken very seriously, and that investigations will be conducted on their part.
The owner has also filed a police report and investigations are ongoing.
