If you are looking for a credit card with the highest discount for Esso petrol stations then look no further, we have found a few that you might want to consider. And although the Citi SMRT card has discounts at Shell and Esso stations you may just want to set this card aside the next time you are getting your tank filled at Esso as we have a few more cards that will help you save more at those stations.

1. Citi Cash Back Card - Same bank but different!

Want more savings? Consider applying for the Citi Cash Back Card. This card will not only get you one of the highest discounts from Esso at 20.88% but will also give you $120 cash back when you spend $200 per month for six months straight. They have also managed to throw in Automated ERP payment through EZ-Pay an added plus for drivers.

Both the Citi Cash Back card and the Citi SMRT card have the same qualifying income bracket of $30,000 per year for Singaporeans and $42,000 per year for non-Singaporeans. With a much lower annual interest rate on the Citi Cash Back card at 26.9%.

2. OCBC 365 Credit Card - Even lower annual interest rates!

With a slightly lower petrol savings on this card the OCBC 365 card offers a 18.3% discount when you use this card at the Esso stations. This card has its perks with a 1% lower interest rate than the Citi Cash Back card, which is great for the majority of people who would want to stretch their payments on their card. They also offer a two-year annual fee waiver, which is one year more than the one on the Citi Cash Back Card.

3. DBS ESSO card – Earn Smiles points on top of your fuel savings

With the DBS ESSO card, you can look forward to an instant 18% discount when you pump at any ESSO station. Spend a minimum $180 of nett on fuel at Esso per calendar month from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2021, and you'll also be able to enjoy an additional $7 fuel savings, which will be awarded into your Card Account.

With an automatic Esso Smiles Driver Rewards programme, you'll also be able to earn up to one Smiles point for every litre of Synergy fuel purchased, while every $10 of retail spend on the card will net you on Smiles point. You can choose to redeem either $10 worth of Synergy fuel with every 300 Smiles points or $30 worth of Synergy fuel with every 750 Smiles points.

The DBS ESSO card has a $30,000 per year qualifying income bracket for Singaporeans and PRs, while the qualifying income bracket for foreigners is $45,000 per year.
