MCF joins Hyundai to uncover the new Ioniq Hybrid

ver 60 MyCarForum (MCF) members, along with their partners and family, gathered at the Hyundai showroom last Friday night to attend the MCF Hangout with Hyundai. The star of the event was
the brand new Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid - the MCF Hangout was an opportunity for guests to get a much deeper insight into the car's development, as well as to learn about the car's road-going capabilities.
Being the first hybrid offering from Hyundai, the Ioniq has to be considered a relatively unknown entity to most Singaporean drivers. As such, Julian Kho, Editor of sgCarMart, was on hand for a presentation about the Ioniq. In the presentation, he talked about some of the key technologies that underpinned the development of the Ioniq, as well as sharing his experience of driving the car over a period of three days.
Throughout the event, guests also had the chance to test drive the full range of Hyundai models. These include the new Elantra and the Tucson Turbo. Of course, most attention was clearly being lavished at the Ioniq, with guests eagerly waiting their turn throughout the night. There was certainly a palpable sense of surprise as many of the guests initially pulled away from the carpark in virtual silence, with some guests wearing a look of distinct bewilderment.
