Pioneer A-Series speakers - Superior sonics and durability

Music has been an integral part of every culture, past and present, with a long history that dates back to prehistoric periods. And while we may tend to think of sound systems like CD players or iPods as new technologies, music-playing devices are a lot older than many of us may know. The first music player, the phonograph cylinder, was invented by Thomas Edison in 1877, on which he managed to play Mary had a little lamb. Even radio has its roots in the late 19th century, as it was especially developed during the First World War Commercial radio broadcasting that subsequently took off in the 1920s.
Since those times, audio technology has come a long way. We now live in an age where our smartphones are a music player, radio and television set all-in-one.
Vehicle audio systems have similarly made advancements - we no longer see cars with cassette tape players. Some may argue CD players are becoming increasingly obsolete as well, in this digital age. New ways to play music, such as internet radio and Bluetooth connectors, have led car audio manufacturers such as Pioneer Electronics to developed comprehensive media players to suit these needs.
However, one aspect that may be overlooked is the actual speakers, which are still very much analog in nature. Even in this age of high-resolution audio formats like Free Lossless Audio Codec, significantly higher details and clarity will still be lost through ho-hum speakers. This has of course driven Pioneer to develop new products that are capable of keeping up with the advancements in audio technology.
Pioneer A-Series component speaker package
The Pioneer A-Series speakers have consistently been one of the brand's most popular products, offering superior sonic quality and product durability at an affordable price. The 2016 lineup of A-Series speakers consists of nine models, and have several technological enhancements for greater sound quality, durability and flexibility.

The A-Series offers supreme musicality, with an increased dynamic range and linearity that allows users to hear and feel deeper bass, as well as smoother, extended trebles. This has been achieved with an improved Multi-layer Mica Matrix woofer cone design. Employed throughout the entire range, mica is a mineral that is injected into the woofer cone to improve its rigidity and durability, which allows for more accurate reproduction of even the most subtle of frequencies.
This means that the speakers produce excellent audio quality across all music genres. So whether it is for the soothing Jazz driver, the hairy Rock driver or the trippy EDM driver, Pioneer has them all covered.
Improvement has also been made to the speakers' maximum power. While trying to explain the mechanical specifics will likely be too technical and tedious for most, the resulting improvement is the ability for the speakers to handle up to 10 percent more power than their predecessors. This means that your music can be played louder, without the music becoming distorted and harsh-sounding.
The speakers also feature the Progressive Flex Suspension System (PFSS) that was originally developed for the brand's flagship PRS-Series. PFSS further enhances bass performance and durability of the A-Series models.
Attractively styled and made to last, the A-Series speakers have also been stylishly redesigned with a new full-face mesh grille, preventing dust from entering the units and damaging the internal components. The high-quality appearance and universal design also help to enhance the vehicle's interior.
