17 people injured in accident involving a lorry on the AYE

The local paper reported that an accident, which involved a lorry and a bus, happened on the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) towards East Coast Parkway (ECP) before the Jurong Town Hall exit this morning.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) was alerted to the accident at 8:15am and dispatched four ambulances to the scene.
The victims were conveyed to Alexandra Hospital and the National University Hospital (NUH). No fatalities or casualties with serious injuries were reported. Investigations are ongoing.
