2013 Ferrari California debuted in Geneva: Less weight, more respect

The F12 Berlinetta has gathered much of the recent media hype and attention that one almosts forget it is not the only Ferrari on display at the Geneva Motor Show. Case in point, Ferrari also brought the all-new 2013 California to the eyes of the Swiss.

With its new 4.3-litre V8 engine to the California, it has received a boost of 30hp to bring total output to 483 hp and 505 Nm of torque. The chassis also gets revised, which includes edge aluminum fabrication techniques to knock 30kg off its weight.

Ferrari is also offering a new Handling Speciale package that features stiffer springs, quicker steering ratio and improved magnetorheological dampers. It all results in improved performance figures that includes a 0-100km/h time of 3.8 seconds.
