DXC and Ferrari to develop HMI for next-generation vehicles

DXC has announced an extension of its partnership with Ferrari, utilising its extensive experience in the automotive industry to develop the next generations of Ferrari's in-vehicle infotainment systems, providing Ferrari owners with a superior automotive experience while having the agility to stay ahead of the market.

As part of its journey with Ferrari, DXC started reengineering the Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems for Ferrari's current and next-generation models in 2021.

In a recent project, DXC developed the software for the F80, Ferrari's new supercar. Thanks to the former's bespoke software, the supercar's multiple displays deliver a high-speed, performance-oriented experience, with its 'digital cockpit' system offering functionality for public road use and transforms into a racing display when on the track.

The bespoke software also provides real-time performance data (including speed, G-force, revs, and tyre pressure) and immersive visuals creating a unique and thrilling racing experience for the user.
